PEA GRAVEL

One of our more common uses of the material is to be used in conjunction with Pea Gravel. The common problem with Pea gravel is in its susceptibility to movement and displacement. When putting in a 3 to 4 inch depth of Pea stone, it is common to have a sinking effect as well as losing material to traffic displacement. By putting a 2 inch base of the ENVIROBOND Stabilized Stone, you can spread a thin layer (1/2 inch to 1 inch) of the Pea stone on the surface, water it and compact it in. This provides the desired look, as well as providing a solid surface with minimal displacement. The following Driveway portfolio is a perfect example of this:

The following is an Amphitheatre built using our Stabilized Crushed Granite as the ground surface. Because of the degree of slope, regular unstabilized crushed stone would wash out with every heavy rain.
